OWDC – DKC®
OWDC® is a leading organic product for soil management.
It was started by Dr. Krishna Chandra while he was the Director of N.C.O.F.
OWDC is the result of nearly 15 years of research by Dr. Chandra. Initially, it was named “Waste Decomposer” and was available in gel form. Currently, it is available in pouch form as OWDC.

Use 1000 liters of OWDC solution per acre with water.
It can be used 8 to 10 times in the field, depending on water availability and convenience.
It can also be sprayed on plants by mixing with water and other DKC products.
Method of Preparation
Take a plastic drum, 100 liters of water, 500 grams of jaggery, and one OWDC pouch.
Add 100 liters of water to the drum. Add 500 grams of jaggery and mix well. Then add one OWDC pouch to the solution.
Use 500 grams of jaggery per 100 liters of water.
Example: Add 5 kg jaggery to 1000 liters of water.Stir the solution 3–4 times a day. It will be ready for use in 4–5 days.
Always keep the solution covered with a cotton cloth.

OWDC, डॉ. चंद्रा जी के लगभग 15 वर्षों के शोध का परिणाम है। प्रारंभ में इसका नाम “Waste Decomposer” था और यह gel form में उपलब्ध था। वर्तमान में यह OWDC pouch form में उपलब्ध है।
फायदे
OWDC के प्रयोग से अत्यधिक सख्त मिट्टी भुरभुरी और मुलायम होने लगती है।
इसके नियमित प्रयोग से मिट्टी की जल धारण क्षमता में गुणात्मक वृद्धि होती है।
OWDC में मौजूद लाभकारी जीवाणु मिट्टी में मुख्य पोषक तत्वों और carbon humus की मात्रा बढ़ाने में मदद करते हैं।
इसके लगातार प्रयोग से मिट्टी में लाभकारी देसी केंचुओं की संख्या बढ़ती है।
मिट्टी भुरभुरी होने से बरसात का पानी खेत में जल-पुनर्भरण करता है।
मिट्टी में अच्छी नमी रहने से सिंचाई और बिजली के खर्च में कमी आती है।
यह घोल मिट्टी के pH स्तर को संतुलित करने में मदद करता है, जिससे मिट्टी खेती के लिए उपयुक्त बनती है।
उपयोग
OWDC घोल का उपयोग खेती और बागवानी में किया जा सकता है।
यह मिट्टी को स्वस्थ, पोषक तत्वों से भरपूर और carbon humus से समृद्ध बनाने में मदद करता है।
प्रति एकड़ 1000 लीटर OWDC घोल पानी के साथ प्रयोग करें।
पानी की उपलब्धता और सुविधा के अनुसार खेत में इस घोल का उपयोग 8 से 10 बार किया जा सकता है।
इस घोल का छिड़काव पौधों पर भी किया जा सकता है और इसे DKC के अन्य उत्पादों के साथ मिलाया जा सकता है।
तैयार करने की विधि
एक प्लास्टिक ड्रम लें। इसमें 100 लीटर पानी, 500 ग्राम गुड़, और एक OWDC pouch लें।
ड्रम में 100 लीटर पानी डालें। उसमें 500 ग्राम गुड़ डालकर अच्छी तरह मिलाएं। इसके बाद एक OWDC pouch घोल में मिला दें।
प्रति 100 लीटर पानी में 500 ग्राम गुड़ का इस्तेमाल करें।
उदाहरण: 1000 लीटर पानी में 5 किलो गुड़ मिलाएं।घोल को दिन में 3–4 बार हिलाएं। घोल 4–5 दिनों में उपयोग के लिए तैयार हो जाएगा।
इस घोल को हमेशा सूती कपड़े से ढककर रखें।
